If you are heading out to Canyon de Chelly in northeastern Arizona, be sure not to miss the hike down to White House Ruins. This moderate 3 mile round trip trail switchbacks down a beautiful red rock canyon to a cottonwood shaded valley and the mysterious White House Ruins.
Drive the South rim out to Spider Woman Rock Overlook for a stunning look at this formation and to learn the lore of Spider Woman. Drive along the North Rim for more overlooks, ruin sites, and to learn more history of the people who occupied this beautiful canyon.
