Adventure Bus Friend Competing in 1/2 Ironman!

Long time Adventure Bus guest and friend Mark C. from Sunbury, PA has been training for the New Orleans 1/2 Ironman scheduled for April 5th, 2009. He will bike 56 miles, swim 1.2 miles in Lake Ponchetrain, and run 13.1 miles. Wow! Previously, he has run 9 marathons and competed in countless other road bike and running races including 7 short triathlons. He'll spend about 15 1/2 hours training this week, with various combinations of riding, swimming and running, oh, and going to work!

Adventure Bus Friend Rides in Moab’s Skinny Tire Festival

Barb P. from Denver Colorado visited us last weekend here in Moab and biked in the Skinny Tire Road Bike Festival. A long time friend and fan of Adventure Bus, she has been on several tours and assists us with our marketing. Her first ride took her along the Colorado River. The second, out to picturesque Dead Horse Point State Park. She raised over $850 for the Lance Armstrong Foundation. She began road biking only 2 years ago. Way to go Barb! We are proud of you for getting out there and just doing it!
